Hello from Ignite!

I just had to post real quick before going to bed (hopefully). We are here at the Ignite Student Conference in Lubbock with about 3000 teenagers from all over having a great time praising Jesus! I don't know where all these teenagers are from, but I know a bunch are from Texas, a bunch are fom New Mexico, and I even saw a bus from Liberal, Kansas.

Tonight, we got to experience the magic of illusionist Drew Worsham (pictured to the right). We had two concerts by KJ52 and The Road Less Traveled. I was in meetings and missed the worship with Jeff Johnson and his band, but I heard good things about it.

But I think for all of us would be the testimony we heard from our speaker for the weekend - Thomas Young. For his first sermon of the conference, he shared of his terrible family life and his searching for love and meaning in this world. He spoke about how God brought him to the place of looking to him for love and meaning. Great stuff.

As for tomorrow, we start up at 9 (central time zone) for more worship and a concert by Stellar Kart tomorrow afternoon after another worship service. Then, we head for home and a quiet place to get a great night's sleep. Keep praying for all of us here. Thanks!

Anytime, man. It was a good

Anytime, man. It was a good conference, and it meant a lot to me. I'm actually at one of those conferences for adults, and God has been amazing here. Of course since it's for adults, it's a little bit quieter, and a little less distortion guitar, and a little less....
